Recent occurrences reported in the media and general observation of what is going on in our society has sparked off many unanswered questions in my mind concerning love. What exactly is love? Why would people kill, abandon or even betray objects of their love?
God is love - that's why he sacrificed his very best to save sinful man. How often are we willing to sacrifice our own lives for the sake of people we love. Instead, cases of people killing those they claim to 'love' is on the increase. What exactly do we mean when we tell someone, 'I love you?'. Do we love them for who they are or what they are? God loved us for who we are, not what we are. In our sinful nature, no one can be daring enough to love us the much God did.
Let us love unconditionally!
